As a true professional, when I treat myself, my family, friends or colleages I look for somewhere that goes beyond the boundaries of the norm when it comes to style, impressive food and service.

After many years of searching I have found the place- in fact the only place that I truly believe is worthy of such a description - The Walnut Club Hathersage. Not only is the food exceptional but the abundant menu in its entirety is exclusively organic. With an array of delicious creative delights capturing you as you read the menu, filling you with endless temptation and causing decision making extremely difficult, the realization that the chef has Michelin talent comes as no surprise.

In addition to being exquisite the food is also novel and vibrant. In fact I cannot even begin to describe one example to you as each individual choice oozes a sense of sheer magic in its own right. In addition to this you are sat in a tremendously tasteful, stylish restaurant, served by conscientious and pleasant staff and entertained exclusively by a talented live professional Jazz band. Heaven, what more can I say!!

Had to write in and say Bravo to the Walnut club in Hathersage, revolutionary and light years ahead of any other eating out experience in South Yorks and Derbyshire.... not only is it 100% organic and you do really taste the difference in the quality but its truly a dining experience! Great food, atmosphere and its about time we had an upmarket restaurant here to compete with our neighbours in Manchester and Leeds!

Although I had to wait for two weeks to get a table because they were full the previous Saturdays.. it was totallay worth it.. great Jazz music, well priced and awesome food.. I've booked for every weekend for the next month!

Lets support such a wonderful forward thinking venue!

"The food was fantastic, hand dived scallops to start with the best I have ever eaten and a fabulous organic fillet steak served with good roasted vegetables.

The puddings were brilliant my partner had an unctuous choclolate pud and I had the zingy lemon tart. The house red was well priced and very drinkable.

This place is stylish and has a sophisticated yet chilled atmosphere. I will definitely go again."
