The following review has been written by Sheffschefs after a visit to the establishment. All visits are made anonymously, as ordinary paying customers. Nestling between charity shops and travel agencies, you might not realise this restaurant is here unless you seek it out, but for an unusual eating experience, it is worth a try. Caribbean cooking is the order of the day and the menu includes a whole range of things that you may never have heard of, let alone tried before, like Ackee and Salt Fish, Tagin and Fufu. Don't worry though; the more cautious diner is also accommodated with dishes such as Fried Chicken.
It's not a big place and it has a cosy atmosphere and bright African style decor, which together with the friendly service make it an enjoyable meal experience. After our visit we would recommend the Vegetarian Couscous and the Fried Plantains, which were both delicious.
