I recently dined at Crystal and found quite the former to the previous reviewer. Firstly we dont mind eating late but the only table available was 10 o'clock and the place was full to capacity on our arrival. They have an excellent selection of menu choices, and my wife had the fish and chips and claimed the best she had ever had and she is from Yorkshire she should know! I had the Pork belly that was fantastic quite unusual and made a nice change. We also are quite keen on our wine and found that they have a reserve list, not that we treated ourselves to a £750 Lafite Rothschild but they had a quite rare 1988 Kirwan at just £80. If you prefer your restaurants a little quiter i would suggest mid week as it was quite loud due to so many diners and a large party close to us. After we had finished our meal we went back to the bar and watched from the bar the people downstairs while we had our coffee and after dinner drinks. Not the usual for Sheffield more suited to Leeds or Manchester but if you want quality it isn't always cheap.
