I had initially had the same reservations as another reviewer here on the basis that the place seemed to change hands pretty regularly. However, the teatime special ( 2 courses for £10.95 including a nice large glass of decent house wine) provided an excellent taster.

I have now taken advantage of this excellent offer twice and both times the food and service has been fantastic. If seafood always tasted this fresh I'd never eat anything else.

My boyfriend took me to Bluefin on Saturday night to celebrate my birthday. I was initially unsure about the venue as it has changed hands so many times I wasn't sure what to expect.

We were both hugely impressed by the quality of food and the friendly service. The staff and chefs were accommodating with food allergies and the food was very fresh & impressive.

My boyfriend had tiger prawns and sea bass which was cooked perfectly and I had mouthwatering crab soup and swordfish steak. The raspberry creme brulee was also delicious.

I would definitely recommend Bluefin to anyone who loves good fish and will be certainly be going back!

We went for a meal at the Blufin restaurant and were very impressed.

We thought it was reminiscent of Slammers, which we loved and were disappointed when it closed. Not sure whether one of the chefs from Slammers runs the Blufin, think they do.

Anyway, we had 3 courses, wine and water for £78 + 10% tip. The wild bass with chilli crumbs was beautiful, as were my fiancee's thai fish cakes. I know you can get fishcakes at most places, but these are the best!!

Would definately recommend to anyone wanting a great meal. Enjoy!!

What a super restaurant! The food was excellent, well presented and sensibly priced. The service was good and the place buzzes with vitality. Well worth a visit if you are a fish lover.

This has got to be one of the most understated and underestimated restaurant's in Sheffield. The menu is extremely varied and the dishes are beautifuly presented. The cooking is of the highest standard and the ingredients are of the majestically fused together to provide a superb dining experience. I cannot recommend this restuarant highly enough. If you love fish you'll want to marry the Blue Fin!
