On a friends recommendation, I dined in the restaurant with a group of friends and we thoroughly enjoyed the occasion. What a gem. The restaurant has recently gained numerous dining awards and quite rightly so. The ambience is perfect for all age groups and what good value for money. The meal was splendid - well presented and tasted so fresh. The service was smooth, we didn't have to wait too long in between courses. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. I should imagine a great luncheon or dinner party/special occasion venue. We'll be back. Submitted by Elly Merchant, May 2008 Couldn't fault them on a thing! Great food, even for veggies. Portions a sensible size so you can get all 3 courses in and a great deal on of 3 courses for £23 (cheaper on weekdays too I think). Service was great, attentive but not in your way. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant too. Managed happy hour cocktails at 2 for £7 before we went up to dine as well. We had the cheapest wine on the list at £12.50 a bottle and the red
and the white were both excellent.
