It can handle loaves up to 2lb in size, making it more suitable for sandwich loaves than a machine with a smaller capacity. It's less than £50 too. More info

It's a top of the range bread maker with 12 programmes for bread, dough and jam, plus programmable memory settings. It can make three loaf sizes, 750g, 1kg and 1.25kg and has a new continental style crispy bread programme and an extendible bake and rise option for browner crusts. It is priced at just under £100.
